Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has indicated that he is hopeful of adding new faces to his squad in the January transfer window.

Monk signed eleven new players to overhaul the Leeds squad in the summer and poor early season form aside, his signings have clicked, which has catapulted the Whites to fourth in the Championship table.

With Leeds playing well and expected to be in the thick of the playoff spots battle at the end of the season, many are expecting Monk to receive significant funds to sign more players in January.

And the Leeds boss himself admits that he is hoping to replenish his squad in the winter window, but for the moment wants his focus to be on the games his side are going to play in the next week or so.

Asked whether he expects to sign players in January, Monk said in a press conference: "We hope so, that's always the plan.
