Rangers Under-20s boss Graeme Murty has revealed that Mark Warburton had his charges captivated during half-time in their win over Dundee earlier this week.

The Glasgow giants scored all three goals in the second half as they romped to a 3-0 win over Dundee Under-20s in a Development League clash and it seems Warburton played a key role in inspiring the youngsters.




Murty revealed that the Rangers senor team manager walked into the dressing room at the break and admits that the youngsters were completely captivated by what he had to say.

And the Rangers Under-20s boss feels Warburton’s experience in management was clearly visible as he spoke with his young audience and made the day better for the probable future first teamers in the side.
 


Murty told the club’s official website: “The manager coming into the changing room yesterday and talking to them at half-time was fantastic and they went out for the second half really inspired.

“To sit back, not have to say my piece and listen to the manager was great.

“To see the way that he had the players in the palm of his hand with that authority, which not only comes with being first-team manager, but also the way he is experienced and his manner is really good and it definitely added to the experience for them as well.”

Rangers Under-20s are currently on an unbeaten run of four league games, winning three of them and are seventh in the Development League table.
