Julian Draxler appears one step closer to the exit door at Wolfsburg after being left out of the squad to travel to Munich for this weekend's Bundesliga clash against Bayern Munich.

The Germany international is desperate to quit Wolfsburg and has been linked with Arsenal, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the opening of the winter transfer window.

It recently emerged that Wolfsburg are willing to sell Draxler for €36m, a sum well within reach for his suitors.

And in another sign they have written off counting on the attacking midfielder, he has been left out of the squad heading for Munich, with coach Valerien Ismael choosing to sideline the wantaway star.

Draxler will have to be content with watching Wolfsburg's match away at the Allianz Arena at home on Saturday.
