Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has urged his side not to look too far ahead and instead take one game at a time during the busy period in December.

Spurs, who have thus far won both of their games in all competitions in December, still have four Premier League matches left this month, starting with a trip to Manchester United on Sunday.

Tottenham will also play Hull City, Burnley and Southampton later in the month, and Pochettino explained that his team will try to pick up as many points as possible from their four league games in December to move up the Premier League table.

However, the Argentine tactician, whose side are currently fifth in the standings with 27 points from 14 games, seven behind leaders Chelsea, has called on the north London club to take each game as it comes as every fixture is important.

“Every game is difficult”, he said in his pre-match press conference on Friday.
