Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has explained that the club and the fans come before individual honours, following the Bhoys’ 1-0 win over Hamilton Academical on Tuesday night.

The only goal at Paradise came in the 36th minute when Tom Rogic’s through pass found Dembele, who only had the goalkeeper to beat from 18 yards; but the Frenchman spotted the run of his strike partner Leigh Grifftihs and passed to him, with the 26-year-old slotting the ball home.

The win helped Celtic to move 11 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with two games in hand.

And Dembele, whose side are yet to lose a domestic game in the present campaign, stated that there is no scope for selfishness at Celtic as he hailed the team performance against Hamilton.

“Serve Celtic colours rather than selfishness, we call that team performance!” he tweeted.
