West Ham and Southampton are amongst the clubs interested in snapping up Udinese defender Molla Wague.

The 25-year-old central defender joined the Serie A outfit from Granada in the summer of 2014 on loan and has been in impressive form for the Italian club over the last couple of seasons.

His performances have been noticed by a number of clubs in Europe and it has been claimed that there is major interest from Premier League clubs in the Mali international.

And according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, West Ham and Southampton are amongst the front runners in the chase for Wague, who has also generated interest from France.

The defender’s loan deal with Udinese expires in the summer, but the Serie A club could choose to keep him on a permanent basis.
