Asking Price Set For Franck Kessie As Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Clutch of Others Keen

Atalanta are set to hold an auction for 19-year-old midfielder Franck Kessie, who has been linked with a move to several Premier League clubs, and want to pocket a fee of around €30m, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

The young defensive midfielder’s future has been a subject of furious speculation over the last few weeks, with the player attracting heavy interest from both Italy and England.

Juventus and Napoli are amongst his Italian suitors, but the Serie A giants are facing real competition from the Premier League clubs, who are ready to throw big money to snare Kessie away from Atalanta.

Liverpool have already reportedly made a bid for the player and it has been suggested that even Tottenham Hotspur are ready to slap in a bid of around €23m for the youngster.

However, there are other Premier League clubs who are keen to offer more and it has been claimed that Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal are prepared to offer €25m or more for Kessie.

And Atalanta are ready to use the heavy interest from the Premier League in Kessie to create an auction for the player and want to earn a fee of around €30m from his sale.

Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini is not anticipating losing any of his players in January and there are suggestions that Kessie could eventually leave the club in the summer.

His current contract with the club runs 2021.
