Paris Saint-Germain are looking at the possibility of signing Chelsea target Fernando Llorente this month to restock their attacking options.

The 31-year-old striker has impressed in a struggling Swansea side this season and has bagged six Premier League goals in 17 appearances in the current campaign.

He has emerged as a surprising target for Chelsea for the January transfer window as Antonio Conte looks to sign a back up striker to Diego Costa, while consider loaning out Michy Batshuayi.

However it seems the Blues could have competition for Llorente’s signature as according to French sports daily L’Equipe, PSG are also considering a move for the player this month.

Since Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s departure in the summer, Edinson Cavani has been carrying the burden of PSG’s attack and the club are keen to add more options to their resources up front.

However, PSG are yet to make any concrete move for Llorente as the club hierarchy are still not unanimous about signing the Spaniard from Swansea this month.

The former Athletic Bilbao and Juventus striker joined Swansea in the summer and has a contract until 2018 with the club.

Llorente played under PSG boss Unai Emery during their time together at Sevilla last season.
