Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi in the current transfer window, but the Blues remain reluctant to lose him this month.

The Belgian striker has struggled for minutes at Chelsea this season with Diego Costa in good form and has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in January.

West Ham have been mooted as his suitors and it has been claimed that French champions PSG have joined the queue for Batshuayi in the last few days.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, PSG director of football Patrick Kluivert held talks with Chelsea for the signature of the former Marseille forward, but has struggled to find an opening.

Chelsea have remained consistent on their stance of not allowing Batshuayi to leave the club this month and have told PSG that they won’t enter into negotiations for the Belgian.

However, PSG have not lost heart and are expected to continue to probe the west Londoners for Batshuayi as the club are keen to provide more support to Edinson Cavani up front.

It has been suggested that the Parisians could look to seduce Batshuayi and to try and change his mind about staying at Chelsea and move to the French capital this month.

However, that also looks like a long slot as the player himself has been keen on staying at Stamford Bridge and fight for a place in the team.
