New Leeds United co-owner Andrea Radrizzani is sinking into a specially made cake, sporting the words 'Best Wishes Presidente', to celebrate the Whites winning on his first game as a major shareholder in the club.

Radrizzani recently purchased 50 per cent of Leeds from countryman Massimo Cellino and could take his shareholding up to 100 per cent in the summer, buying Cellino out completely.

He toured the club's Thorp Arch training base on Thursday, meeting head coach Garry Monk and the first team squad, while then visiting Leeds' Elland Road ground.

And on Friday, Radrizzani attended the Championship match between Leeds and Derby, which saw the Whites win 1-0.

He is delighted Leeds won on his first game as co-owner and has celebrated with a cake.

Radrizzani took to Twitter to post a photograph of the cake in question, with the word "Presidente" clearly visible; Cellino has liked to be referred to as president during his time at Leeds, in keeping with the traditions of the game in Italy.

And Radrizzani wrote: "Nice cake to celebrate my first game and 3 points."

Leeds' victory moved them up to third spot in the Championship standings, a place they have held on to following Saturday's results.
