Former Liverpool full-back Jim Beglin believes Trent Alexander-Arnold looked the more expensive player when compared to Paul Pogba at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp threw teenage right-back Alexander-Arnold into the starting line-up for the Premier League game and he was tasked with keeping Manchester United's Anthony Martial quiet.

While Pogba handballed in the penalty area to give away a penalty in the 1-1 draw, which James Milner scored, Alexander-Arnold produced an accomplished performance.

And Beglin thinks that the Liverpool youngster looked a more expensive player than the world-record transfer fee holder.

He wrote on Twitter: "Alexander-Arnold looked a lot more expensive than Paul Pogba."
