Leeds United have confirmed that young midfielder Clarke Oduor has put pen to paper on a professional contract at the club.

The 17-year-old has drawn praise for his performances at youth level with Leeds this season and on several occasions has impressed Whites' Under-23s boss Jason Blunt, who has thrown him into Under-23 action despite his tender years.

And with Odour having been on song, Leeds have wasted no time in signing him to a professional deal which will run until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

The emphasis will now be on the midfielder to push on and catch head coach Garry Monk's eye, while continuing his development.

So far this season Odour has made 13 appearances across the Under-18s and Under-23s for Leeds, scoring a goal in the process.

In signing a professional contract, Odour is following team-mate Mallik Wilks, who himself signed a professional deal with Leeds in December last year.

Odour is yet another bright prospect at Leeds, who have developed an outstanding reputation for breeding young talents and progressing them into the first team.
