Real Madrid are set to win the race for  young AIK striker Alexander Isak, despite the wonderkid being linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.

According to Swedish daily Aftonbladet, Los Blancos are poised to sign Sweden international Isak in this month's transfer window for a fee of €10m.

If the signing is completed by Real Madrid, then Isak, at the age of just 17, would become the most expensive transfer made in the history of Swedish football.

The current highest transfer in the history of Swedish football involves Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was signed by Ajax for a fee of €7.8m.

Isak has been tipped sign a five-year contract with Los Blancos and it has been claimed his agent will jet to Spain next week in a bid to put the finishing touches to the deal.

Arsenal and Liverpool were keen on taking the talented striker to the Premier League; however, he is likely to arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu for the next chapter in his career.

Isak scored ten goals in 24 Allsvenskan matches for AIK last year.
