Robbie Keane is set to make a decision over interest from clubs in the Championship over the next two weeks, but a return to former club Leeds United does not appear to be on the cards.

The ex-Tottenham Hotspur striker has been linked with a return to English football following a successful spell in the United States with Los Angeles Galaxy.

Preston North End have been mooted as suitors, while Leeds and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been suggested as potential destinations.

Keane has denied fielding interest from Leeds and Wolves, and it appears he will not hear from the Whites as, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, they do not appear to be chasing the veteran striker.

Leeds are known to be looking to sign another striker in the current transfer window, however it seems they are set to steer clear of the 36-year-old.
