Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham linked defender Andrea Ranocchia has continued to remain coy over his future at Inter Milan.

A former Inter captain, the 28-year-old defender has seen his stock fall rapidly at the San Siro over the last season and has been a bit part player at the Nerazzurri for a while.

It has been suggested that the defender has already knocked back offers from West Ham and Hull City and wants to continue in Italy, with Bologna said to be interested in snapping him up this month.

However, Tottenham are reportedly interested in the player following Jan Vertonghen’s injury and are looking at Ranocchia as possible cover for the Dutchman.

And the player himself has remained non-committal about his future and indicated that he is waiting for more information from the Inter hierarchy.

Ranocchia was quoted as saying by Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, when asked about his future: “Let see what they have to say to me from above.”

The defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Sampdoria and has a contract until 2019 with the club.

He has also earned 21 caps for Italy.
