AC Milan have slapped in their latest offer for Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu and are hoping to secure the Spaniard’s signature in the next few days.

Everton finally went back on their adamant stance of forcing an obligatory purchase option into any loan agreement for the 22-year-old and gave renewed hope to AC Milan.

The Rossoneri returned to the negotiating table with Everton and according to Sky Italia, the Serie A giants have made their latest loan plus purchase option for the Spanish winger.

It has been claimed that AC Milan have offered a loan fee of €500,000 to Everton for Deulofeu and are ready to offer another €18m if they take up the option of signing him on a permanent deal.

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani also reiterated yesterday that they have made their latest offer to Everton and are waiting for a response from the Merseyside club.

Ajax and Wolfsburg were also hoping to sign the player, but Deulofeu rejected offers from both clubs and remains keen on joining the Rossoneri in the current transfer window.

AC Milan don’t see any trouble in negotiating with Barcelona, who have a right to first refusal on Deulofeu, and are confident of resolving the situation with them without any skirmishes.
