Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has issued a rallying cry to the Whites faithful ahead of Wednesday night's Championship clash against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road.

Garry Monk's men went down to a 3-2 defeat away at Barnsley on Saturday; Jansson missed the game as he served the second of a two-match suspension, something which meant Monk had to shift Luke Ayling into centre-back alongside Kyle Bartley.

Jansson will be back and available for selection when Forest visit on Wednesday and is expected to be instantly restored to the starting eleven by Monk.

And the Sweden international is raring to be back in action for Leeds, issuing a rallying cry to the fans ahead of the game.

He posted a photo on Twitter and wrote: "Let us gather on Wednesday, players and fans together and fill Elland Road, stronger than ever!"
