Marseille are keeping tabs on Juventus defender Patrice Evra, according to Italian daily Il Messaggero.

The Frenchman has struggled for game time this season and has been linked with a move away from the Italian champions during the ongoing winter transfer window, with Crystal Palace and Lyon interested in snapping him up.

And it has been now claimed that Marseille boss Rudi Garcia is also showing interest in signing the left-back this month.

Evra, whose present contract with Juventus will expire this summer, has made just 13 appearances in all competitions for the Turin giants in the present campaign.

Crystal Palace have already made an offer to the former Manchester United man, but it is yet to convince him.

On the other hand, Lyon coach Bruno Genesio, who acknowledged his side’s interest in Evra, insisted that nothing has been decided yet.

With just a week left before the closure of the transfer window, the chase for Evra is heating up.

Evra’s latest suitors Marseille are also close to signing Dimitri Payet from West Ham United.
