Juventus are quietly confident that Arsenal will be forced to sell Alexis Sanchez for a reasonable fee during the summer transfer window.

The Chilean forward’s contract with the Gunners will expire at the end of next season and Sanchez has so far been stalling on signing a new deal with the north Londoners.

Sanchez has looked visibly frustrated by Arsenal’s performances in England and in Europe this season and there is a feeling that he could pack his bags for a new club in the summer.

Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have all been linked with a move for the player, but Juventus are the club who have been keeping tabs on the Chilean since last year.

And according to Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport, the Italian champions are hopeful about signing the Chilean at the end of the season.

The Bianconeri believe if Sanchez continues to stall on signing a new deal, Arsenal could be forced to sell the player in the summer to avoid losing him for free at the end of next season.

Juventus are prepared to offer a fee of around €30m for Sanchez and the Italian champions believe the Gunners could be forced to accept the figure in the summer.

Sanchez has been a talismanic figure at Arsenal since joining the club in 2014 and the club are still hopeful of tying him down to a new long term contract.
