AC Milan technical director Massimo Mirabelli has remained coy over the club’s interest in signing Chelsea and Manchester United target Alvaro Morata in the summer.

The Real Madrid and Spain forward is said to be considering his future in the Spanish capital after struggling to play regular football in his first season back at the Bernabeu.

Antonio Conte is a big fan of the former Juventus man and wants to take him to Chelsea in the summer and even Jose Mourinho has reportedly spoken with Morata about a possible move to Manchester United.

AC Milan have also identified the Real Madrid man as one of their top targets for the summer and they are prepared to make a huge financial commitment to sign him.

But Mirabelli is staying coy on his club’s speculated interest in Morata and insisted that it is still not the right time to start discussing the transfer window.

The AC Milan sporting director told Italian broadcaster Premium Sport when asked about their interest in Morata: “I was in Madrid for the match.

“It’s not that he is of no interest to us, it’s just that it is not the right time to talk about the market.”

Despite not being a regular, Real Madrid are expected to demand big money if any suitors come calling for Morata in the summer.
