Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy has dubbed N'Golo Kante a "trophy pig" after the Blues clinched the Premier League title on Friday night with a 1-0 win at West Brom.

A late goal from substitute Michy Batshuayi handed Chelsea all three points to put the Blues ten points clear of Tottenham Hotspur and, with Spurs having just three games to play, the title is going to Stamford Bridge.

For Kante, who was involved in the celebrations in front of the Chelsea fans at the end of the game, it is a second successive Premier League title after he collected the trophy with Leicester City last term.

And Cundy joked the midfielder is a trophy pig.

"He is turning into a Premier League trophy pig!" Cundy said on Chelsea TV.

"Two in two for that man!"

Another former Chelsea star, Tommy Langley, also hailed Kante, noting the humble nature of the midfielder.

"That's how humble that man is, he looked almost embarrassed.

"They dragged him in front of the fans.

"Two trophies in two years and he came from Caen, and nobody had ever heard of him", Langley said.

Kante was an unused substitute at the Hawthorns as Chelsea manager Antonio Conte went with Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic in midfield.
