Sampdoria are prepared to allow Liverpool linked striker Luis Muriel to leave for a club outside Italy during the summer transfer window, something which is sure to place Jurgen Klopp on red alert.

The 26-year-old Colombian forward’s future at the club has been under a cloud for some time, but it seems Sampdoria are ready to sell him as president Massimo Ferrero recently said Muriel deserves to join a ‘big club’.

The Serie A club are indeed prepared to listen to offers for him in the summer, but according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, they are only ready to sell him to a club outside Italy.

Sampdoria are unwilling to strengthen another Serie A club and it has been claimed Liverpool and Sevilla are interested in signing the 26-year-old at the end of the season.

Klopp is expected to be in the market for another striker in the summer and it seems the Reds could opt to take Muriel to Merseyside ahead of the start of the new season.
