Celtic winger Scott Sinclair has insisted that he is not worried about failing to find the back of the net in recent games as he is not all about scoring goals.

The 28-year-old, who joined Celtic from Aston Villa last summer, has been in scintillating form for the Scottish champions.

Sinclair has thus far made 47 appearances in all competitions for Celtic, scoring 25 times and setting up 11 goals.

However, he has failed to score in the Hoops’ last two league outings against St. Johnstone and Aberdeen respectively.

But Sinclair explained that not scoring goals recently does not play on his mind as his game also involves providing assists and creating chances for his team.

“Not really”, he told Celtic TV, when asked if not scoring goals in recent games plays on his mind.

“My attributes are not only about scoring goals.

“It’s about providing assists and creating chances for my team and doing as well as I can when I play.”

Celtic, who are unbeaten in domestic games this season, have already lifted the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League Cup.

And Sinclair stated that he would like to end the present campaign by winning their final two league games before beating Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final later in the month.

“The main thing for us is to keep winning games, the last two”, he continued.

“And make sure we win the final to pick up the treble.”
