Marseille are interested in signing Kurt Zouma, with Chelsea claimed to be open to the idea of loaning out the French defender in the summer.

The 22-year-old defender returned to action earlier in the season after recovering from a career threatening knee injury, but has only been sporadically used by Antonio Conte.

Chelsea are convinced about his talent but are aware that they cannot guarantee the Frenchman regular football next season, leading to uncertainties around his future at the club.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, the Blues are prepared to loan out Zouma in the summer and Marseille are showing an interest in signing him in the upcoming months.

A move back to France also appeals to Zouma, who wants to play regular football next season ahead of the World Cup in Russia as he is keen to stake his claim for a place back in the French national team squad.
