Monaco are expected to bring up Michy Batshuayi when they meet Chelsea for talks next week over the signature of Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws.

The striker, who joined Chelsea from Marseille last summer, has been sparingly used by Blues boss Antonio Conte this season.

He has thus far clocked up just 672 minutes over 26 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea, scoring seven times, including the strike against West Bromwich Albion which helped the Stamford Bridge outfit to secure the Premier League title.

However, his future is uncertain at Chelsea, who are interested in bringing in Monaco defensive midfielder Bakayoko this summer.

The new French champions are also willing to sell Bakayoko for the right price and will discuss the possibility of signing Batshuayi when they meet Chelsea for talks next week.

It has been also suggested that Monaco could want the striker to be part of the deal, which sees Bakayoko moving to the opposite direction.

Monaco are on the verge of signing Anderlecht’s Youri Tielemans, which could pave way for Bakayoko’s departure from the principality club.

On the other hand, Batshuayi is aware that he needs to play more regularly to be included in the Belgium squad for the 2018 World Cup.

The 23-year-old, whose present contract with Chelsea runs until 2021, has nine caps and three goals for Belgium to his name.
