Garry Monk is still very much committed to contract talks with Leeds United, despite being linked with a move away from the club this summer, with Middlesbrough and Norwich City tipped to be potential destinations.

The 38-year-old took charge of Leeds on a one-year deal last summer and almost guided the Whites to a playoff spot finish in the Championship.

A poor run of form towards the end of the season saw the Yorkshire giants finish in seventh spot with 75 points from 46 games, just five points behind sixth-placed Fulham.

However, Leeds are yet to secure Monk on a fresh contract and the head coach has been linked with Norwich City, and is also the bookmakers' favourite to be the new manager at Middlesbrough.

But according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Monk is still committed to talks with Leeds about extending his stay at Elland Road, suggesting leaving is not yet on his agenda.
