Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has revealed he has bought a house in Malmo, but insists he is not actively planning to return to Sweden just yet.

The centre-back impressed at Elland Road on a season-long loan stint from Torino and has been snapped up by Leeds on a permanent deal.

Jansson has been linked with several Premier League clubs on the back of his performances for Leeds in the Championship, but has insisted his focus remains fully with the Yorkshire giants.

He is currently enjoying his summer holidays back home in Sweden, where he is keeping fit with former club Malmo and has bought a house.

But Jansson has eased any fears that he has made the purchase ahead of a move back to Sweden by insisting he has no plans to head home at present.

"We have actually bought a house", Jansson told Swedish daily Expressen.

"I cannot say where it is. [But] we will occupy it in Akarp [just outside Malmo, ed.] in June.

"We just wanted something here at home so we could have something when we get home.

"I have not planned to move to Sweden again, but you start to get a little too big to sleep with the parents, so we wanted something.

"Then we actually found a new plot that we immediately fell for", he added.

Jansson has not been shy about his love for former club Malmo FF and has raised the possibility of playing for the Swedish giants once again at some point during his career.
