Manchester United linked defender Serge Aurier is expected to meet the Paris Saint-Germain hierarchy after the French Cup final to take stock of his future at the club.

The 24-year-old right-back has reportedly been pushing for a move away from PSG in the summer and has made up his mind about a transfer, despite the club’s interest in holding on to him.

Barcelona are interested in Aurier and he has often been linked with a move to Liverpool, but Manchester United are reportedly in pole position to sign him after reportedly agreeing in principle to sign him.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is in no mood to lose the player but the young defender has already rebuffed a new contract offer from the club in recent months.

PSG are expected to continue to try and convince Aurier to continue at the club and according to French sports daily L’Equipe, both parties are expected to meet after the French Cup final to discuss his future at the club.
