Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is not sure he will be managing Monaco attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva at Old Trafford next season.

The 22-year-old Portuguese is a coveted player in the transfer window after a great season at Monaco and the star has been linked with a move to a number of clubs.

Manchester City, Inter and Real Madrid have all been linked with Silva and there has also been talk that Manchester United are in advanced negotiations to sign him from Monaco in the summer.

However, Mourinho has appeared to have poured cold water over the speculation by insisting that he is not sure that he will be working with his compatriot at Old Trafford next season.

But he did add that players of Silva’s quality are always needed at Manchester United.
