Rangers are showing interest in promising left-back Pedro Rebocho, with Pedro Caixinha showing no sign of slowing down on his recruitment drive.

The Gers are pressing the accelerator on signings at present, with Caixinha concentrating his efforts on his native Portugal and Mexico, where he managed Santos Laguna.

Despite Rangers having Lee Wallace, Lee Hodson and Myles Beerman all able to operate at left-back, Caixinha is keen on Rebocho, according to Portuguese sports daily A Bola.

Just 22 years old, Rebocho currently turns out for Moreirense and made 34 appearances for the club this season.

The defender came through the ranks at Benfica, turning out for the club's B team, before moving to Moreirense only last summer.

Rebocho signed a three-year deal with the Verdes e Brancos and helped the club win the Portuguese League Cup this term.

His performances have attracted the interest of Caixinha, but it remains to be seen if Rangers can do a deal to take him to Scotland.
