Eden Hazard concedes that if Real Madrid make him an offer then he will listen, but explained that staying at Chelsea could be the best course of action for him to take.

The Belgium international starred this season as Chelsea marched to the Premier League title and reached the final of the FA Cup during Antonio Conte's first season in charge.

In previous summers Hazard has been strongly linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid – now it is the Spaniards alone who appear to be showing interest in securing his signature.

Hazard insists he is happy at Chelsea and could remain at Stamford Bridge for the long term, but the Belgian admits that if Real Madrid do come calling then he would listen to what the Spaniards have to say.

He told Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws: "Of course I'll listen [if Real Madrid make an offer].

"We all have dreams.

"It could be Spain, it could be staying with Chelsea.

"I'm good where I am now.

"I think I can stay at Chelsea for many years.

"But it's not something I'm thinking about right now. We'll see."

Hazard also believes if he joined Real Madrid he could find himself warming the bench, something which would undoubtedly come into his thinking.

"But if I ever joined Real Madrid, I could end up on the bench too.

"I just want the best solution for myself", he added.

The Belgian could end up locking horns with Real Madrid next season as Chelsea will be back in the Champions League following their Premier League success.

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid do choose to try to sign Hazard this summer and whether the forward is receptive to their advances.
