Everton have entered the race for sought after Lazio forward Keita Balde, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

Keita has been heavily linked with leaving Lazio this summer, with a host of big clubs from Italy and abroad showing interest in him.

AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli have all been credited with showing interest in the 22-year-old, who is also on the radar of Arsenal and Chelsea.

However, Everton are the latest entrant in the chase for Keita and the Merseyside club are expected to make a bid for the Senegal international soon after meeting with the concerned parties.

Keita’s contract with Lazio expires in 2018, meaning the Rome-based outfit are keen to realise a fee for the youngster in the summer transfer window.
