Manchester United have had a €60m bid for Alvaro Morata knocked back by Real Madrid, according to Sky Italia.

Morata now appears to be Jose Mourinho's priority attacking target as he searches for a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Red Devils have made their move for the Spaniard and put €60m on the plate for Morata – but Real Madrid have rejected it.

The European champions value Morata at the €90m mark and the ball is now in Manchester United's court.

Italian giants AC Milan are keen on Morata, but with Manchester United's €60m not enough for Real Madrid, it appears unlikely the Rossoneri will be in a financial position to compete.
