Manchester United target Alvaro Morata has remained coy over his and James Rodriguez’s futures at Real Madrid beyond the summer.

Morata is said to be pushing for a move away from Real Madrid before regular football next season and Manchester United have already seen a €60m bid rejected by the European champions.

Manchester United are still in talks with Real Madrid for the 24-year-old and are confident of getting a deal over the line, with a new bid believed to be on the cards soon.

Jose Mourinho’s side are also said to be considering making a move for another Real Madrid star in Rodriguez and Morata teased that there could be a possibility that the duo will remain team-mates next season.

“Will we remain team-mates next season? Who knows”, the striker was quoted as saying by Fichajes.net when asked about Rodriguez.

AC Milan are also interested in Morata but it seems Real Madrid’s financial demands, coupled with Manchester United’s involvement, mean the Rossoneri are expected to be priced out of making a move for the Spaniard.

Rodriguez has also been linked with a move to England with Chelsea and Arsenal, but there have not been any concrete proposals for him on Real Madrid’s table thus far.
