Alvaro Morata’s agent is currently at the Santiago Bernabeu, discussing the future of his client at Real Madrid, amid interest from Manchester United.

The 24-year-old striker is wanted at Manchester United as Jose Mourinho wants to build the attack around him at Old Trafford next season.

Juanma Lopez, his agent, confirmed earlier this week that Manchester United have indeed made an offer to sign the striker, but Real Madrid are planning to make the negotiations difficult.

Despite reports of the two clubs close to agreeing a fee between €75m to €80m, Real Madrid are not willing to lose the player for under their stated asking price of €90m for the moment.

Morata has the desire to continue at Real Madrid, but he also wants to play regular football next season and according to Spanish daily AS, the striker’s agent has arrived at the Bernabeu to sort out his client’s future.

Lopez is expected to discuss the offer from Manchester United and also look at the possibility of Morata staying, if Real Madrid offer him assurances of regular football in the starting eleven next season.

The striker wants his future sorted out by the end of week as he is set to get married in Venice this Friday and is keen to know where he will be playing his football next season by then.

It remains to be seen whether Lopez could push Manchester United and Real Madrid towards agreeing a fee by the end of the week.
