An emissary from Manchester United was in Milan earlier this week to discuss a deal with Inter for Croatian winger Ivan Perisic.

The 28-year-old Croatian has already agreed the terms of a contract with Manchester United and is ready to move to England but the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement over a fee.

Inter have knocked back two offers from Manchester United for Perisic and are holding out for around €50m before they agree to sell the winger in the summer transfer window.

According to Tuttosport, a Manchester United representative was in Milan earlier this week and held talks with Inter to discuss an agreement for the Croatian.

However, there still remains a considerable gap between the clubs’ valuations of the player and the negotiations have not progressed even though both Manchester United and Inter are willing to work out a deal.
