Everton linked striker Mario Balotelli is considering staying at Nice next season despite interest from clubs across Europe.

The mercurial Italian hitman joined Nice on a one-year contract last summer after a torrid time at Liverpool and has rekindled his career in France over the course of the last season.

Scoring 15 goals in 23 league appearances, the striker showcased his talent again in one of Europe’s top leagues and it has led to interest from a number of clubs across the continent.

Borussia Dortmund have been interested in snapping him up on a free transfer and even Everton are reportedly considering signing the former Liverpool man this summer.

However, according to Sky Italia, Balotelli is considering staying at Nice and is thinking about signing a new contract with the club who finished third in Ligue 1 last season.
