Roma have enquired about the possibility of signing Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu this summer.

The Spaniard impressed during his loan stint at AC Milan last season and returned to the Spain senior squad on the back of his performances in Italy.

The Rossoneri are still interested in securing his signature for next season but his future is on hold at the moment as Barcelona are still considering whether to invoke the €12m buy-back clause in his contract.

Deulofeu is not keen to return to Goodison Park but his agent admits that a decision on his future can only be taken once Everton and Barcelona want to do with him.

And it seems the winger has one more suitor in Italy as according to Leggo, Roma sporting director Monchi has enquired about the possibility of signing the Spaniard this summer.
