Swiss Super League giants Basel are still earning money from Mohamed Salah and will again pocket cash from the winger's move to Liverpool.

The Egypt international completed a €42m move from Roma to Liverpool earlier this week and the total fee could yet hit the €50m mark when bonuses are factored into the sums.

Basel earned €18m from selling Salah to Chelsea in 2014 and now the wide-man is returning to England they will earn again, as compensation for the training spell the player had at St Jakob Park.

According to Swiss daily Blick, Basel's share of Salah's fee will come in at €276,000, meaning extra funds flowing into the club's bank account.

Basel took Salah to European football in 2012, snapping him up from El Mokawloon.
