Leeds United may be left disappointed in their interest in Liverpool target Riza Durmisi, as it is claimed the left-back is more likely to move to the Premier League in the event he heads to England.

The Whites have been linked with the Real Betis defender, with claims new head coach Thomas Christiansen will try to convince his fellow Dane to join the project at Elland Road.

However, Christiansen may have a tough job on his hands as, according to Spanish sports daily Estadio Deportivo, Durmisi would be more likely to move to the Premier League.

He may have an option in the English top flight as Liverpool have been consistently linked with holding an interest in him.

Left-back may be a position Reds boss Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen over the summer after playing midfielder James Milner in the role last term.

Durmisi is not pushing to leave Real Betis though and has been keen to stress his happiness at the Spanish side.

The Denmark international is locked down on a contract with Real Betis until the summer of 2021.

Durmisi helped the club to a finish of 15th in La Liga last season.
