Mamadou Sakho is back training with Liverpool and working hard over pre-season, as doubts over his future at Anfield continue to linger.

The France defender has been put up for sale by the Reds, who are looking to bring in £30m from offloading him.

Sakho fell out of favour with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp last summer and was loaned out to Crystal Palace for the second half of last season, playing a key role in helping the Eagles avoid relegation from the Premier League.

And Sakho is making sure he puts himself in the right shape over pre-season, posting a video of himself on an exercise bike at Liverpool's training base on social media.

Liverpool are reportedly confident they will be able to achieve their £30m asking price for Sakho in light of his performances in the shop window for Crystal Palace last season.

It remains to be seen if the Eagles will come back in for Sakho this summer, but the defender is keen to play on a regular basis next season in order to put himself in contention for a spot in the France squad at next year's World Cup in Russia.
