With the number of clubs interested in Lemar increasing every day, Arsenal could be forced to pay a premium price to get their hands on one of Monaco’s star performers last season.

The Ligue 1 champions are not keen to lose the player and are even plotting to extend his contract at the Stade Louis II, but they are yet to get anywhere close to the Frenchman’s wage demands.

Arsenal have been the first club to make a concrete move for Lemar but the race could heat up in the coming days as more clubs look to throw their weight around in the chase.
