Birmingham City and Brighton are leading the chase for Dijon striker Lois Diony, but will have to pay at least €10m to land the former Nantes man.

Diony caught the eye last season as he helped Dijon avoid relegation from the French top flight.

As a result, the 24-year-old has several sides chasing his signature.

According to French outlet So Foot, it is Birmingham and Brighton who are currently making the running for Diony.

The pair will have to splash the cash to sign Diony though as Dijon president Olivier Delcourt is clear that the striker will not be sold on the cheap.

"He will not leave for less than €10m", Delcourt insisted.

If Diony does move to England then he will be looking at a substantial increase on the amount he currently earns at Dijon.

Presently the striker takes home €25,000 per month at the Ligue 1 side.

The striker played in 35 of Dijon's 38 Ligue 1 games last season and scored ten goals, along with providing eight assists.
