Tottenham Hotspur target Suso says he is "definitely" staying at AC Milan this summer.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is mooted to be a big admirer of the Spanish attacking midfielder and has been eyeing taking him to north London.

But Suso, who joined AC Milan from Liverpool, has no plans to quit the San Siro and has guaranteed he will not be leaving the Serie A giants.

"I have not yet signed a new contract, but I am very happy at Milan and I have always said it", Suso said at the Sportitalia awards ceremony.

"This is my team and here is my family – I will definitely stay here", he continued.

"I want to thank the fans, who were amazing to me last season."

Suso's current contract with AC Milan has a further two years to run and a fresh deal is something the 23-year-old is keen on.

He made 37 appearances across all competitions for the Rossoneri last season, scoring seven times and providing eleven assists, as he caught the eye at the San Siro.

It remains to be seen whether Suso might have a change of heart if no contract is forthcoming as the summer ticks by.
