Former Turkey coach Fatih Terim believes Liverpool linked Emre Mor would have no problem in adapting to either Italy or England.

The 20-year-old winger’s future at Borussia Dortmund has come under the scanner this summer, with the player expected to leave Westfalenstadion after just one season.

Liverpool have been widely linked with a move for the player, with Jurgen Klopp a known admirer of the Turkey international, but currently they are lagging behind Fiorentina in the chase for Mor.

The Serie A outfit have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to get a deal over the line and have been in talks with Dortmund for the 20-year-old’s signature.

Terim is certain that a move to Italy could benefit the youngster and feels Mor only needs time and affection to help him feel more confident about his abilities.

The former Turkey boss told Viola News when asked about Mor’s potential move to Fiorentina: “He will do well due to the affection he will receive in Florence and he only needs some confidence.

“He can already speak English and with the help of the people around him and his team-mates, he will soon learn Italian.

“He has to feel the love around him and he will do great things.”

And Terim is also certain that the winger can play in any league, be it Serie A or the Premier League.

He said: “I don’t think he would have any trouble in Serie A or in the Premier League or in any major championship.

“He’s young and just needs some time.”
