Monaco are still keeping tabs on Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, but he is not a priority for the Ligue 1 champions going into the last two days of the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move away from Celtic all summer, but with little more than 48 hours left in the window, he remains at Paradise.

Dembele has not been against the idea of playing in Ligue 1 this season and he has attracted interest from French champions Monaco, who are in the market for forwards.

With Kylian Mbappe’s move to Paris Saint-Germain expected to be made official soon, Monaco are looking to bring in strikers before Thursday’s deadline and Dembele remains an option.

However, Monaco have already signed Stevan Jovetic from Inter Milan and according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Dembele is not a priority for them at the moment.

Dembele has also attracted interest from Marseille, with Andoni Zubizarreta meeting the player’s representatives earlier in the summer, but he remains an expensive option for the club.

However, since the striker is still young Marseille are still considering investing a huge sum in Dembele to take him to the Stade Velodrome.
