Fulham have not made contact with Newcastle United over signing Dwight Gayle, according to Sky Sports News HQ

Gayle's future at Newcastle is unclear heading into the last 48 hours of the summer transfer window as the Magpies are reportedly ready to sell for as little as £10m.

The striker was prolific in the Championship for Rafael Benitez's men last season, firing Newcastle to promotion, but he could be set to end his St. James' Park spell.

Gayle has been linked with a move to Craven Cottage.

But it is claimed that Newcastle have had no contact from Fulham over Gayle.
