Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will undergo a medical with Liverpool at England's St George's Park training base this evening.

Liverpool have agreed a fee of between £35m and £40m for the England international and are now pushing to get the deal over the line.

Arsenal accepted a bid from Chelsea for Oxlade-Chamberlain, but the player was set on a switch to Anfield and Liverpool have quickly thrashed out a fee with the Gunners.

Now, with Oxlade-Chamberlain on international duty with England, he will undergo a medical at St George's Park tonight, according to the Liverpool Echo.

With the transfer window closing on Thursday night, Liverpool will want to finalise all the details which remain in good time.
