Italian agent Fabio Parisi admits that Premier League clubs were interested in Yann Karamoh, who joined Inter Milan on a two-year loan deal on deadline day.

Karamoh’s future was under the scanner all summer as Inter continued to struggle to agree a fee with SM Caen, but the player was adamant about moving to Italy despite Saint-Etienne’s interest in France.




Even Fiorentina tried to make a late bid to scupper Inter’s pursuit of the player, but the winger finally joined the Nerazzurri on deadline day on a two-year loan deal.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal were also heaviily linked with a move for the Frenchman and Parisi, who was one of the agents involved in the negotiations, admits that there indeed was English and Barcelona interest in Karamoh in during the transfer window.

And despite Fiorentina making a late move, it was ultimately the player’s decision to join Inter on deadline day.

Parisi said on TMW Radio when asked about Fiorentina’s late play: “The market was always evolving.

“Fiorentina were looking at him and were interested like some of the English teams and Barcelona.

“But it was the boy’s decision based on the project and other reasons.”

The 19-year-old scored five and assisted four goals in 35 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
