Liverpool loanee believes Divock Origi believes he has a good chance to develop further by playing in the Bundesliga for Wolfsburg and has already set a goal target – but he will not reveal what it is.

The striker, who fell down the pecking order at Anfield, following the arrivals of Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke, joined Wolfsburg on a one-year loan deal on deadline day.

Several clubs were interested in the Belgium international, with his dad and agent Mike Origi saying last week that there was interest from Tottenham Hotspur, while fellow Premier League outfit Newcastle United were also interested in snapping him up.

However, Origi, who wanted a new challenge, decided to join Wolfsburg and the 22-year-old explained that he is relishing the prospect of improving himself further by playing in the Bundesliga.
